After the concert Friday night we went to Big Boy and had some deliciously unhealthy food.(I did break my diet some during the weekend). Then we went back to the beautiful hotel room we were staying in. We stayed at the JW Marriott. We were fortunate enough to have a corner room and the view was spectacular.
And I was in love with the little reading light next to the bed.
Saturday was unscheduled until the party in the evening. So Scott and I took a trip to the mall to finish some Christmas shopping. He was quite the trooper. We were there for a while and covered a lot of ground. It was strange shopping without kids.
Here was my outfit for the party.
Scott got some new clothes too.
We had a great time. It was weird being away from the boys for most of the weekend, but nice. They were loving on us when we got home so it was worth it!
Scott's boss is incredibly generous and we are blessed throughout the year but especially at Christmas time.
