Wallpaper Removal

Like I said yesterday, we took down all the wallpaper that was in our dining room and bathroom. Doing this job makes me realize I will never put wallpaper up. Even though I have seen some really cute stuff recently- it just isn't going to happen. I never want to have to remove the stuff again.

On a recommendation by the lousy former tenants of our house we bought this stuff for removing the wallpaper.

I love the name!
And it worked great. The sprayer that came with the product was worthless. So my sis-in-law who was there helping went and picked up a foam roller and tray.

This was much easier and went so much faster. I don't know if this is how the product should work but the top layer of paper came off first while still leaving behind the glue. I rolled on another coat of Dif and waited a little bit. The glue layer came off pretty good in most areas. It was just stubborn in a few different 1-3 inch spots. I think maybe we weren't as patient as we should have been. It may have been easier if we waited a bit more.
My neck still hasn't recovered. It has a permanent crick in it.

Here are some pictures of how it looks.

Sorry- just realized these are 'during' shots. I don't have any good 'after' shots but will get some this weekend.

Have a great weekend!
