She's Got New Legs

I talked about our new couch here.

I am absolutely loving it. Still.

But there was one thing that didn't sit well with me.

Her legs. I wasn't a fan. They weren't that pretty.

I fixed that. I had a credit on Amazon.com. I did a search for pretty legs at a pretty price. And I found some. I also wanted some legs that were a little shorter than the current 5" legs. The couch seemed to sit higher than the floor sample couch in the store.

She's so pretty now.

Before
After

I love it.

And I also decided to move the rug out from under the couch.

Much better. Now I need to find something to keep it from slipping around and I need to de-pill it so very badly. My fingers are hurting just thinking about it.

I'm not sure if you caught my new wall arrangement in the photo up above. But I did find something to fill the wide gap between the couch and my new wall art.

I took a cue from my post yesterday and picked a piece with some personal history. I've been wanting to panel a wall with apple box boards from my dad's farm. The boxes have 'Plummer' spray painted onto the side of the box along with the year they were made. I've searched the property for boxes to disassemble and bring home with me so I could do this. I've never been able to find 'Plummer' on any of the boxes I find. My brother found TWO boards with 'Plummer' on them. I was ecstatic. I can still do my paneled wall one day. But for now it will fill an empty space, and fill it proudly.

I am loving how everything is coming together!
